NYC Knob & Tube Experts

The purpose and limits of the information and planning tools on nycknobandtube.com.

## Information about the work

This website explains knob and tube wiring and the decisions that can follow its discovery. General information does not establish the condition of a particular installation. An electrical professional must assess the actual property before determining the appropriate work.

Code and approval discussions describe the stated source and its scope. The responsible project professionals must determine which requirements apply to the installation and filing. Insurance decisions are made under the actual policy and the insurer's requirements.

## Prices and planning tools

Published examples are identified as third-party figures where applicable. They are not NYC Knob & Tube Experts rates or an offer to perform a particular job for that amount. A proposal depends on the assessed scope and the agreed inclusions.

The estimator organizes published examples. It does not calculate a verified price for concealed wiring. The project assessment organizes the information available to you and does not certify safety, diagnose a fault or authorize continued use of an installation.

## Inquiries and project agreements

Submitting a form asks us to respond to the request. It does not confirm an appointment, establish a completion date or authorize electrical work. The actual project proposal and service agreement identify the work and its terms.

NYC Knob & Tube Experts offers and manages services. Licensed and insured contractors perform the electrical work, with the responsible contractor identified in the project arrangements. Statements about the work do not imply that the brand itself holds an electrical trade license.

## Using the information safely

The site does not provide instructions for homeowners to work on energized equipment. Do not handle old wiring or disturb suspect materials to investigate a finding for this website. Use information already available and arrange the appropriate professional assessment.

For smoke, fire or active sparking, leave the affected area and call 911 from a safe place. A website inquiry is not an emergency-response service.

## Feedback and submitted material

Submit information that accurately reflects your own experience and that you are entitled to share. Do not include another person's private information. Written feedback is considered for public use only with the separate publication permission requested by the feedback process.
